Hi folks,
we have a PDF in our project and in a topic we link to it. - That works fine.
The problem we have is:
Whenever we import a project from the Visual Source Safe database, the PDF can be viewed in the project without problems. BUT: When we build a help (HTML Help), the PDF can be opened in the help, but it appears to be empty!
I found out:
That only happens, when we use the PDF that is imported from Source Control.
Everything works fine, if we copy the original of the PDF into the imported project, and then build a help ...
It looks like the MS VSS database is doing strange things to the PDF. Or can the cause be found somewhere else?
Anybody else eve came across sth like that? Any ideas why that is?

That problem sounds familiar and this might be the cause / fix. Maybe you are lucky and that's it.

Solved!
Thanx David - that was half the way: We already had that software update, but I still had to declare the PDF file type as one to be stored in the database ...
