Publishing a Non-source controlled project to GIT

Post by trent the thief »

Hi,

Has anyone managed to publish from Flare to GIT? I'm able to publish to the local repo, but the "Push to remote" never happens.

The logs show each file being output file being "uploaded" to the local repo, but the push doesn't happen. Instead, every file is logged again with, "File not checked out."

I get a Network config error (timeout) at the beginning and once again at the end, just before the "Publish failed: Object reference not set to an instance of an object error."

The destination is able to find my local repo and populates the source control settings. Remote repo is set to origin. The credentials are set and show in green text.

Git works fine from the command line.

Edit:

1. In the Credentials section of the Destination window, that green, "Credentials are set" line has no significance whatsoever. You can enter anything text at all for credentials and it still turns green. Flare does not verify the credentials with the repo.
Trent.

Certifiable.
