Importing to Git repository for Madcap 2017

Post by Iocus_Rood »

Hi There all,

I've been having an issue with pushing a project to our Git repository.

I should preface this by saying I'm not super technical, so follow up questions might sound likewise dumb.

I've been trying to use source control to push our online help to our Git repo. Binding the project seems to work fine, but any Pull, Push, or Commits are returning "Git clone error - fatal: early EOFs".

I've done some research and found this this might have to do with the size of what is being pushed. It exceeds 2gb in size, which I'm told 2gb is the threshold. Also, if I select the 'Import Project' option I get to the part where I must select my Project file and when I click on the 'Browse' button to locate the project, I get this error:
"Could not clone remote. The current branch is configured to merge with the reference 'refs/heads/master' from the remote, but this reference was not fetched"

Would anyone be able to assist me with this?
