It seems that the Madcap source control extension for git has no way of fetching new branches created in the remote git repo. When a new branch is created on the remote (or pushed to the remote by another user), it does not appear in the Madcap list of branches, and there is no way of fetching it. Maybe this is what the Refresh button in the Source Control ribbon is intended to do? However, clicking this button seems to actually cause Madcap to hang if the remote has a new branch.
Can anybody offer any advice on this?
