Our Client in downtown Atlanta is looking for a qualified candidate to join an existing writing project where the documentation is using MADCAP Flare. Qualified candidates must be able to write, edit, index, or revise a variety of technical user documentation. Position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as an understanding of: programming concepts, operating systems and networking, web services, and API.

Candidate must be able to start immediately and work in downtown Atlanta. Remote work may be allowed after 2nd or 3rd week with an understanding that travel to site will still be required during business meetings throughout the assignment.

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for current and future applications, i.e., technical reference manuals and white papers.
• Create, edit, and maintain procedural documentation, including but not limited to department policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Create, edit, and maintain “how to” user guides, application guides and help systems.
• Write, edit, produce, and maintain on-line (internet/Web-based) documentation.

Minimum Requirements:
• Associate's Degree in Technical Writing or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years technical writing and documentation experience
• Strong experience with Flare required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to present material in a clear and concise manner to senior officials.
• Experienced in problem analysis and problem solving.
• Ability to plan and organize.
• Keen attention to detail.
