Brief Description
Creates, develops, plans, writes, and edits instructional and user manuals for paper, multimedia, or web-based publications. Contributes to the timely design, production, and delivery/completion of product documentation and document sets.
Required Skills
Experienced writing end-user documentation from initial concepts to delivery.
Edit documents to conform to department templates and style standards.
Work with a development team in an Agile environment.
Ability to analyze complex technical data and write clear, concise procedures and content.
Technical Skills
Experience required with Flare, MS Office 2010, Adobe Acrobat, SnagIt.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (preferred Technical Communications, Instructional Design, etc.)
Years of Experience
Senior technical writing experience (6+ years) in end user documentation (online and printed format).
