Job Description:
Responsible for creating technical documentation, help/user assistance systems, training materials and other technical and marketing materials and documentation as required for complex software applications.

Responsible for driving the complete process of developing these deliverables in a manner that translates highly technical information into an informative user-friendly format. Will be required to interview customers, ProModel software developers or other colleagues; create content by learning and using the software tool itself, write the document, find or generate the appropriate graphics for the document, put it into final format, get approval and publish to the appropriate locations.

Work Experience Requirements:
• Must demonstrate previous work on documenting a software product
• Technical writing
• Should be an expert or near expert in using basic software and computing applications such as spreadsheet software, windows operating systems, word processing software etc.
• Be very familiar with Microsoft environment and technical terminology.

In addition, candidate should have superior command of English grammar and usage, excellent people skills, and be very flexible with the ability to change direction quickly, manage projects independently, and thrive in a challenging, deadline driven environment. It would be very helpful if the candidate has experience in or general knowledge of a military environment, project and portfolio management, a manufacturing environment and the value of simulation software.

Required: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Communications or equivalent
