Seeking IT Trainer with strong technical writing skills. Candidate must be able to work independently, communicate effectively via e-mail and phone conferences, and be flexible and adaptable to rapid changes in scope and schedules. Training experience should include developing training materials and delivering user-centric training in a variety of methods. Work experience must demonstrate ability to effectively interview technical subject-matter experts and to work individually and with teams. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Prior experience with building and delivering technical training programs for complex business software is required.
Plan and direct classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies.
Incorporate motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience, in an effort to maximize learning and retention.
Ensure new training methodologies are incorporated into training approach.
Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for technical courses.
Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
Through assessments, define the documentation/training package on a project-by-project basis.
Ensure the quality and consistency of training course and documentation content throughout a product's life cycle.
Support development of e-learning solutions.
Deliver face-to-face and web enabled training sessions to internal and external customers.
Deliver and gather course evaluation surveys for each training session.
Plan, write, publish and maintain user support documentation and training requirements, including software application online help, online tutorials, and administrator, user, and image guides for software and training materials.
Assimilates complex ideas and detailed information into easy-to-understand written, spoken and visual communications.
Serves as Project Manager for documentation/training projects.
Creates a variety of professional-quality, printed and online IT-related articles, reports, brochures, training materials, and manuals for a wide range of uses.
Analyzes developments in specific field to determine need for revisions in previously published materials and development of new material.
Validate documentation via live or test systems where available and applicable.
Good working knowledge and understanding of software development technologies.
Great communication, collaboration, and flexibility to work with internal groups and external users.
Self-starting, motivated, hardworking, and needs to be very flexible.
Possess excellent written and verbal communications; and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience with Madcap Flare or RoboHelp a plus.
