Technical Author – MadCap Flare

An opportunity has arisen for Technical Author to join our team, a leading provider of enterprise software to retailers worldwide.
As an experienced Technical Author you will work closely with other technical writers, eLearning specialists and product owners to create, update, maintain and improve core customer education materials for the company’s flagship piece of software. We are looking for someone that is highly motivated and can hit the ground running with this exciting project.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience creating user documentation for complex software
- Experience of creating outputs such as PDFs, WebHelp and other forms of user assistance
- MadCap Flare skills are preferred
- Other authoring tool experience considered
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of Learning Management Systems and SharePoint
- Experience of SQL Server would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel when required
Additionally you will be a proactive team player capable of contributing and implementing ideas. You will be methodical with a keen attention to detail and have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
