Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Technical writer to join our team.
This position is responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of training and help documentation for Paradigm Management Services proprietary software applications using MadCap software. This position also writes, records, and publishes video tutorials for new and existing application features and training environments. This position will collaborate with internal departments and cross-functional teams ensure that the documentation and online help include all the necessary information and are deployed successfully.
Essential Job Functions:
• Research, gather, analyze, translate, and compose technical information into clear, accurate, readable training and help documents using MadCap Flare.
• Complete a variety of writing and editing assignments of increasing complexity to support training and help documentation.
• Develop working relationships with other internal departments to aid in developing and maintaining documentation.
• Responsible for all aspects of creating training and help documentation using MadCap products.
• Enhances the ability of users to understand complex systems by developing technical documentation that describes concepts in an easy to understand format.
• Develop user-friendly documentation that can be used by individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Research changes to documentation and update existing documents, as required.
• Write engaging text and work closely with our team to ensure the highest quality experience for users.
• Adhere to corporate writing style guide.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Provide support and problem solving for users follow new product release.
• Support corporate training events (travel required).

Education and Experience:
• Degree in technical writing or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience as a Technical Communicator or Document Writer
• Single-sourcing knowledge (essential)
• Basic understanding of XML (essential)
• Proficiency in MadCap Flare, Capture and Mimic (essential)
• MadCap certified (highly preferred)
• Basic instructional design knowledge (highly preferred)
• Experience working with medical management software (highly preferred)
• Ability to work full time, onsite in Walnut Creek, Ca – remote employment possible for highly qualified applicant
