Technical Writer
The Technical Writer will work with QA analysts, software developers and project managers to create and maintain online documentation for end users and for our support team. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining some corporate policies and procedures. We are looking for strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and produce multiple deliverables with varying deadlines.
Responsibilities
• Develop context-sensitive online help for launch of newly redesigned rate management product
• Work on introductory tutorials for end-user training
• Help maintain existing WebHelp and PDF outputs for other current products
• Create and maintain some internal policies and procedures documentation
Requirements
• A Bachelor of Arts in Technical Writing or a related field, or a Bachelor of Science degree in a technology-related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience with MadCap Flare preferred
• Proficiency with MS Word is required
• Excellent math skills are required
• Some MS SharePoint knowledge is helpful
• Experience creating and/or recording tutorials is preferred
