No Help when upgrading software

Hi,

I am producing DotNet Help for a Visual Studio .NET 2010 (C#) application. Both are delivered in a Setup.exe packaged with InstallShield.

When trying to upgrade our software from version 7.1 to version 7.1.1, MadCap Viewer is apparently uninstalled. So, our customers get an updated version of our software but with no Help at all, which was critical enough to delay our release.

I am using MadCap.HelpViewerEmbeddedClient version 6.1.0.24011 installed as an Installshield "Merge Module".

We are not sure whether we should contact MadCap or InstallShield for help, so we are doing both ;o)

Do you see any reason why this is not updating properly? Any .dll expert?

If there are no changes to the help I would strongly suspect it is something to do with the installer.
