System Variable PageCount does not work correctly at the end

For my PDF output I use the system variable

<MadCap:variable>name: System.PageCount

.

My PDF has 47 pages, but the counter stops on page 45.

Page 46 has the footer "46 of 45"
Page 47 has the footer "47 of 45".

On these pages are normal used topics in my standard DIN A4 page layout.
