I have a snippet that I'm using in two different projects --- one is PDF output, the other is WebHelp output. The conditions work as expected in the WebHelp output; only the content tagged for online output is displayed.
In the PDF project, I imported the snippet and its conditions. I set the conditions to exclude the online output. In the PDF output, content tagged for print AND online output are displayed.
Has anyone run into this issue before?
thanks,
joan

Re: Conditions not working correctly in imported snippet
What do you mean you imported the snippet?

Re: Conditions not working correctly in imported snippet
I created the snippet in one project and then imported it into the other project using the Project > Import File option. So, when I look at my Imports folder in the Project Organizer, there's an object called "Snippets".

Re: Conditions not working correctly in imported snippet
I'd open the snippet in the Internal Text Editor and see if it had any conditions were applied to some of the text in the old project. I'm not sure what Flare will do if you have a conditional tag specifying a name that wasn't created at the project level. For instance, if the conditional tag value is "testOnly" and there was no testOnly condition created in the project to which it was imported, then does Flare just treat that as an include, or is it automatically excluded?
