MasterPage not applying to compiled topics

Post by JasonSTI »

We have a WebHelp Mobile output and are working on updating our MasterPage and stylesheet to utilize Google Fonts and mouseover color changes. It looks great in our topics, but they do not take effect on the files that Flare generates (Contents, Index, Search Results, Glossary, etc).

Is there a way, other than adding this using post-processing, to include a style change in these files? It seems like an oversight that the MasterPage is not applying to this topics.

This isn't an answer, but are you aware that MadCap are deprecating WebHelp Mobile in the next release?

I wasn't aware of that. That isn't ideal, but I already need to keep Flare 2017 in order to build some of our HTML5 Top Navs without editing them completely due to the changes in Flare 2018.

Switching to HTML5 is probably going to be our solution long term. If we don't find another answer, I'll investigate that next.
