Rename the output file

Post by shwetae »

Hi
Can you please tell me how to change the HTML output file name?
The default name it shows is Manual.chm.
How can I change it something related to my project?

Thanks in advance

Or you can just rename the file in Windows Explorer or the command line. The solution you found is the way to go, no tweaking necessary afterwards.

Hi - I was doing some research on an HTML Help problem and saw this post, so thought I would pass along a little experience. If you change the name of a generated CHM in Windows Explorer, search results will be displayed twice - i.e., go to the search tab, type in a search word and execute, and every hit is listed twice. I've seen this happen with files generated in Flare 7 and 8, so presume it to be a universal issue. Forewarned is fore-armed...
