Files for one index entry always sorted alphabetically?

Hi folks,

I just created an index for my HTML Help. I notice that, whenever there is more than one topic for an index entry, they are sorted alphabetically ... that's pretty crappy.
Do I have a chance to change that order myself?
Does that change in other output formats, e.g. Webhelp?
Is it different with other tools (RH, Author-it, ... )?
