View CHM over a network security issue on Win7 64bit machine

I'm having the network security issue on win7 64 machines: I can't view my generated CHM files.

Is there a registry mod that fixes this issue on win7 64 and enables me to view the files over a network? I know that it exists for previous generation machines, and also for win7 32bit.

Any help much appreciated.

You can't view CHM files over a network. That's a Windows security issue. CHMs can only be viewed on the local computer.

For W7 64 bit it should be the same registry change. Keep in mind that this works only for the system you made the change on and I suggest not to recommend this change to end-users. The reason for Microsoft to disable this feature is that they did not want to fix a security vulnerability in the CHM viewer. That means changing the registry to enable this feature again will expose the problem.
