Is micro content possible for CHM?

Postby uwem on Mon Aug 03, 2020 6:16 am

We are using the most current MC 2020. We are Looking for a possibility to implement MicroContent with CHM Output. We ve the Impression that it is possible only for HTML5. Right?

I would very much doubt it. The format hasn't been updated (by Microsoft) for more than a decade.

Flare's documentation states that the only output that supports micro content is HTML5 output.

Sadly, you're correct, and so is Nita. There are so many features of Flare that you can't use in CHMs, so if you want to use some of the neater features you might want to work on your stakeholders to get them to agree to change to HTML5. (I suspect that'll be an uphill struggle.)
Started as a newbie with Flare 6.1, now using Flare 2019r1 and 2020.
