Do user ratings (stars) affect search results?

Post by keuler »

Hi. I'm wondering if the ratings that users give topics affect the ranking of search hits, from a WebHelp Plus user interface.

Also, does Pulse otherwise track the hits that a user clicks on for a given search term, and give the hit a higher priority from subsequent hits? Here, I'm interested to see if the behavior of the passive user, who doesn't bother to rate results, affects subsequent searches by that user (or all users).

Thanks!

No, they do not.
It does not affect search results and I do not think there is a user report for topic clicked from search results.
