Top Nav - Filter tooltip

Hi,

I tried using the method described here viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14785 to add tooltip to the filter icon that appears on the Home Search bar and the Top Nav Search bar. But the tooltip does not appear.

Is there a way to add tooltip to the filter icon?

Bump for this topic, as I'm searching the same thing.

How to add a tooltip to the search INPUT FIELD and/or FILTER ICON?
In the Skin editor, there's 'Search Input > Placeholder' and 'Search Submit Button > Tooltip', but not 'Search Input > Tooltip'.
Is there any way to add/use something like this?

I may have the wrong end of the stick, but if you put the text you want as a tooltip in the "Search Input > Placeholder" place and format it as, say, grey, then when the output is produced your text, for example "Enter your search terms here", is shown in the search box.
