I have online help available through an application that uses Apache Tomcat as the web server. Opening the help file is not a problem, but if you navigate through the Table of Contents (e.g., you're on the starting help page, then click on a TOC item in left pane), the URL contains a pipe character (|) that is escaped in the URL path to %7C. This has not been a problem in the past, but the latest version of Tomcat doesn't allow pipe characters in URLs, so when you click on a TOC item, the pages come up empty.
Is this something I can control, or is it something the developers need to address?
