We have a few empty books in our TOC. On some pages, an empty book displays in our side navigation but its children do not because the menu proxy is only displays X-levels deep. The empty book is on the deepest level to show, so the children are hidden. In Flare 2011, the empty book doesn't appear in the side navigation in this situation. Empty books only appear if we are showing their children as well.
Why is this empty book appearing in this situation when it didn't in Flare 11? How can we address this issue (preferably without changing our TOC)?
