Hyperlinking to XSD document

Is there a way to hyperlink to a document in XSD format? Within Flare, the application asks if you want to use the default Microsoft application, and when you click OK, the document opens up in Microsoft Visual Studio. But nothing happens when you click the link in compiled help. You do get an error message if the output is Dot Net. I'm assuming you can't get Flare to hyperlink to XSD docs, but many there's a way. Does anybody know of one?
