A gap in Online version, by Madcap:Dropdown

Post by Beaver »

In the Browser there is a gap when I used the Dropdown functionality. I used Flare 2017 r2
The preview is ok, but Online or in the browser Chrome/Firefox there is a gap...
Does anybody know how to remove this?
Thanks in advance :).

Can you let us see the stylesheet bits from the medium you're using in your output for Madcap:dropDown, Madcap:dropDownHead, Madcap:dropDownBody and Madcap:dropDownHotspot, and for h4._PWA? We might be able to spot something in there.

Thanks ChoccieMuffin for your reply.
Hereby the details, The only thing I marked is that the DropDownhead is twice/ 2x in the styles.css details
I have replace <H4> by <P> tag but this doesnot help.
Perhaps delete the red marked item or change margint-top: 16px to 6px?
But why is the preview other then the browser version? Thanks in advance :)

Madcap:
After inspecting your output, it appears that the spacing in between your content is due to the browser automatically inserting its own default css margin.
I have tried to overwrite the browser styles in the stylesheet that is in your project but was unable to have the styles take precedence over the styles inserted by the browser.
Because this is a browser issue, there may not be anything that we can do on the Flare side to prevent this behaviour from happening.
Sincerely,
MadCap Technical Support

I solve this issue by no using a <h4> tag before the Dropdown. :echo:
