HTML5 Output error: no publishing directory

Post by AndreaCID »

Hi together,

we updated from an older Flare version to Flare 2017 and changed our Help Output targets from WeHelp to HTML5.
The final targets are build with the madbuild.exe directly onto the server based application.
This worked without problems until the change.

Now the Help build runs until the end, the default.htm is generated but after this the following message occurs (German version):
21:21:00 [exec] Ziel Help_Matrix_Time_Access_Template wird ver”ffentlicht...
21:21:00 [exec] Ver”ffentlichung ?bersprungen: Keine Zieladresse ausgew„hlt.
Build failed.

We didn't publish the help, so we haven't inserted a publishing directory.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you
Andrea

Are you using one of the Top Nav skins with HTML5? That skin is not supported for merging projects with server-based help.

Thank you. Bizarrely the error has disappeared without any changes from our side.
