Tri-pane Glossary Combines Definitions

Issue: Tri-pane glossary search for a given term will display the combined, undifferentiated definitions for search terms previously viewed, if they have not been manually collapsed first. I'm using Flare 2017 r3.

Steps:

#1 Open Glossary.
#2 Search for term (A)
#3 Manually expand displayed term to view definition
#4 Clear search term (Note: Flare does not collapse definition when term is cleared.)
#5 Search on second term (B)
#6 Definition associated with first search term appears first. Matching search terms appear thereafter.
#7 Manually expand a displayed term to view definition
#8 Search on new term (C) for which there is no matching definition in glossary
#9 Result: Flare combines and displays the definitions of the first and second terms (AB) as if they belonged together and to the search term.

Is this an issue I can address by changing a Flare system setting?
