Unable to Remove a Page from Online Output...

Hi All,

I have A TOPIC PAGE called TOC Page (this TOPIC PAGE contains Output TOC Proxy for Heading 1, List of Proxy for Figures and List of Proxy for Tables).

I have inserted above TOPIC PAGE into my default Master TOC Page, after Title Page & Copyright Page.

How can I exclude the TOC Page, so it will not display in the HTML5 Output.

Any response will be appreciated.

Seems like Conditions are your best bet.

- Give that TOC Topic a certain condition (such as "Print Only").
- In your target for online output, check the option to Exclude that "Print Only" condition.

It was easy enough. It worked.

I was confuse about the Conditional text, because they exists at multiple places.

• In Content Folder, right-click a Topic/Properties to get a Conditional Text
  In Master TOC, right-click a Topic/Properties to get a Conditional Text

I am really confuse about these two: There are two in Target Output:

• In Project Organizer, right-click a Target/Properties to get a Conditional Text
  Also, double-click to Open a Target and then there is a Tab for Conditional Text

Any explanation will be appreciated.

In the Content Explorer / Project Organizer - When you right-click something (like a topic, image, etc.) to view its properties, then you're setting conditions on that file.

In the TOC - When you edit properties, then you're setting conditions on that TOC item (but not the file it's linked to).

When you open a target, then you use Conditional Text tab to choose the conditions to exclude/include when you build the target.
