I have my header/alias file created with an identifier for each article in our Webhelp. Right now we hardcode a button into particular pages of our web-based application's UI that links to the appropriate article. But what we'd like to evolve to is having a piece of code in the header of every page that -- at render time -- looks to see whether we have any content at the assigned CSH identifier ("hook"), and if there is content associated with that identifier, it renders the button linking to that article. I have people in my IT dept telling me this should be possible. Have any of you done this? How?
Thanks,

Can a rendering page check for CSH content?
