Top nav menus for accessing User and Admin Help

Post by kt1983 »

So my client is looking for a Top Navigation Help which will have links to separate helps - User and Admin. Both the User and Admin Helps are separate Flare Projects.

Is it possible to have Admin and User Help links in the top nav and then have individual Help topics displayed on the resulting pages?

Hi,
I don't see why you couldn't create a couple of redirect pages in your top level help and add them to the contents.
See this post for details:

The Top Nav menu should then include them and allow you to launch the User and Admin help systems from there.

You might find a viable solution in a webinar offered a few months ago by Scott DeLoach. Not sure if it quite fits your situation, but his “build” project solution might fit.

It’s an hour long webinar that is well worth the viewing.
