Installing Elasticsearch: where to find DefaultConnection?

Post by headphone_jack »

I'm stuck on installing Elasticsearch on an IIS server. Where can I find the path to be used for the DefaultConnection and the path to be used for the DataRootDir? These are both mentioned in How to Install Elasticsearch on a Remote Server: https://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare20 ... Server.htm

There's nothing else in that documentation that points to what should be within these two variables. Any ideas?

Looking at the image, it seems to be the path to a subfolder in web.contentservices for one, and the web.contentservices folder for the other?

Hopefully someone who's set up elasticsearch will pipe up with concrete advice, though. :)

After battling with Madcap support for a while, I've found out that the first one is where the Indices.db file is stored, and the second is simply the Web.ContentServices location.
