Hi,
We have an interface built with JavaFX that gets ported to an Ubuntu platform.
The framework of the help launches and I can see the TOC but none of the topics themselves render from the inteface unless I have an internet connection. If I connect an Ethernet connection it works fine. I have not tried wireless yet.
Any ideas why?
Thanks in advance!
Mary
HTMl 5 and Ubuntu Platform - help not rendering
Re: HTMl 5 and Ubuntu Platform - help not rendering
We ran a sniffer. The ubuntu system is using Firefox. The help finally renders after like 5-10 minutes.
There is <script src="https://google-code-prettify.googlecode ... rettify.js">
</script> that is going out to Google and delaying the load.
What happens if I remove this from my files?

I'd assume that the code in your help topics will no longer be pretty. However, I don't believe it's a MadCap Flare javascript file, so I couldn't say.

It sits in the Masterpage file. I did a build yesterday with it commented out and I see no difference in the HTML output with it gone.
Today we are testing in checked into the code for the interface and will see what happens from there.
