Dropdowns wont expand in Preview

Dropdowns wont expand in Preview

(drop-down, dropdown, drop down)

When I use the Preview feature (regardless of Target), dropdowns don't expand. Clicking them has no effect. I run Flare in on a Windows 7 VM hosted on a new Macbook (Mojave) . Dropdowns worked fine in Preview before I got the new Macbook and VMware Fusion v.11x. I couldn't find this same issue anywhere in the Forums. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
