Slideshow Bullets Hover Text

Any way to make the bullets that appear under slideshows to display text when you hover over them?

I saw that you can add captions to the slideshow output, but that text appears within the slideshow itself and not down by my bullets, which is where I'd rather have the text appear. This might be because I removed "adaptive height" as it was making my head spin when each page jumped in size.

My boss wants the users to see how many pages are in the slideshow course, and a title for each (if possible), so the user can jump to a specific page in the future if they want to return to the content.
