Hi,
For some reason there is a black dot next to my logo that I can't get rid of.
Can anyone offer some advice?

Did you manage to use a vector image, or is the image file in another format?

It kind of looks like you've managed to apply a list style to the logo element. Perhaps check all the skin styles related to the logo? (something like display: list-item, if you're looking at css code)
