Search Suggestion not displaying

Helping a client with a set of Flare projects. We're doing global project linking among projects. There is currently a "global" project that is basically a repository for files including a "global" Stylesheet, and then there is (at present) one named project from which we're currently creating content and building output - this project imports the global Stylesheet from the other project.

Long story short, when we build and view HTML5 output, the Search Suggestion text and hyperlink do not appear for some reason. We are referencing the correct HTML5 Top Nav Skin in our HTML5 Target:

In the Skin file (second image below), we have set the Search Suggestion to display:

We've tried adjusting different settings in the Target and Skin files and rebuilding output, without success. We've tried purposefully misspelling keywords also to no avail. The only possible root cause I can think of at the moment is that the named project doesn't have much topical content in it yet, but I'd think that we'd have gotten at least one suggestion to appear in our testing thus far.

Any suggestions (no pun intended), anyone?

That's a good question, because I never even noticed the Search suggestion style in the skin until you mentioned it.

I use the MadCap search engine in my projects, and I've never seen a search suggestion before.

MadCap's own help does display search suggestions, but that uses the Elasticsearch engine, so perhaps search suggestions are only available in Elasticsearch and not MadCap's search?

This topic in the help also talks about the difference between search engines, so it's worth looking at, but after a 1-minute scan I couldn't find any mention of search suggestions.

Could you finally make it work? I'm confronted with the same issue: no "search suggestions" in my output. I use MadCap search.
