I'm still kind of new to Flare. After weeks of work, I finally got my first project looking just as I want it. Now I am ready to attempt a new project. Is there a way to copy over the two skin files I used in the first project to use as a starting point, or do I have to recreate everything from scratch?

Absolutely! Just create your new project, then copy and paste the skin files over.
