We've just noticed that the URL feedbackserver.madcapsoftware.com is being called by IE's security configuration when search is used on our webhelp. My superiors are really concerned about this, because this could be a huge problem for some of our customers who will be extremely alarmed if something tries to "phone home" from their facilities when they use our docs.
Does anyone know what's going on here and how to disable this? I've started enabling the Mark of the Web on my webhelp; is this related to that?
Thanks
-Matt

No, it is related to the feedback service option that can be enabled. Check the project settings and see if that option is checked.

Hi Ramon, Rick,
Thanks for these responses. Is there a way to disable it in the meantime?
