Hi all,
My WebHelp is opening blank locally on Internet Explorer, with some funky twists.
On IE 6, it opens blank and hangs. If you select Tools > Internet Options and then click OK (or Cancel), the WebHelp will appear, but only once. The same hang will occur next time you open it. This is all regardless of whether or not the Mark of the Web is enabled or disabled.
On IE 7, if the Mark of the Web is enabled, we get a security warning dialog asking whether we want to Add the website to Trusted Sites. If we click Add, it will work forever without any more problems. If we click Close, the frame remains blank. If the MOTW is DISabled, we get the ActiveX "yellow bar", and if we "allow blocked content", the WebHelp will open once.
Not sure about Firefox yet.
I'm pretty sure this wasn't happening in Flare 2. I'm now running 3.1.
The IE 6 behavior is totally unacceptable, since many of my customers use IE 6. Any ideas? Thanks!

If you create a sample project does it still occur? Does your project have a Skinsupport folder located in the Content explorer?

Hi Rick,
Yes, the same thing happens on a new sample project, and no, there is NOT a Skinsupport folder in the Content Explorer. My recollection is that projects I created several years ago DID have the Skinsupport there, but that it hasn't been that way for a long while. Is that significant?
Thanks,
Matt

I think Rick meant to ask if the SkinSupport folder was in the Content folder in the output, not the Content Explorer in the GUI. The SkinSupport folder is generated automatically when you build the project. Do you see a SkinSupport folder in the Content folder of the output folder?

Oh, I see. Wait a sec... Yeah, it's there in the output folder.

What happens when you move the output to a different computer?

It doesn't work, at least not reliably. Results on any given computer are erratic. This didn't happen with the previous versions.
