WebHelp navigation panes: can I make them tabs?

Is there a way to override the WebHelp accordion navigation pane default? Is there a place to select Tabs for the WebHelp navigation pane?

No, unfortunately. At least, not without doing a significant amount of hacking to the Javascript files.

There is a skin in the gallery that does give the appearnce of Tabs, Take a look at it,

Its called Tabbed, You could make your navigation pane size set to Zero. and then just use the buttons across the top.
