Change Title of Browser Window?

Post by Jan Jursa »

Hi,

I know it's somewhere out there, but I can't find it right now. :(
How do I change the title of the browser in which WebHelp opens?

Cheers.

Ah, it's Skins > Basic > Caption...

First it didn't work, but now it's ok.

It's defined In the skin: Basic tab, Caption field.

In the past, some people have reported that Flare sometimes "forgets" edits to this field. If you have this problem, you can always use a text editor to edit the .flskn file directly (you need to set a Title="your_caption" attribute within the <CatapultSkin> element).

Generally it's that the browser has cached the old name. I pretty much delete the output folder before doing any build, but it's especially necessary when you've made changes to the skin. Firefox is pretty good about picking up changes to the skin, I think, but IE is terrible about it, hence deleting the output folder before building.
