For any project I am trying to compile, I keep getting an internal error message stating the directory is not empty. This happens whether I am compiling a project that I've compiled before or I start a new project. anyone have an idea on this one?
Also, does anyone have a list of error messages and what they mean? an error message is great IF you have a clue.
thanks

Re: error message
Did you modify the output directory in the target? You didn't set it to produce the output back into the content folder of the project, did you? If so, very bad idea because that can cause all sorts of complications. Either leave the output path set to the default option or specify a location outside of the project altogether.

Re: error message
I'm using the trial version of Flare 9 and have been experiencing the same issue from day one. My only work-around is to delete the folder with the project name (which contains the Default.htm file), e.g., C:\...\SomebodyzHelp\Output\kwag_myers\ThisOne.
I've checked the folder permissions as suggested here: Flare Error: "The directory is not empty", and I doubt it's the AV since no one else is having issues. I usually leave the Output Folder set to (default), but only changed it in response to this thread and tried building to a directory outside the project.

Re: error message
What happens if, before doing a build, you clean the project (Project > Clean Project)? That will delete everything in the Output folder. Still get the error?

Re: error message
FIXED - I didn't realize until after I bumped this thread that the trial version comes with tech support, who were able to solve the issue. I had my project file on a mirrored network drive (per the request of my client). Once I moved the project over to my C: Drive the issue was resolved.
