SME General Comments Section?

Hello,
Is there a way for SMEs to add comments outside of the actual content? I am looking for a way for general comments to be added, similar to what is supported in Word.

I'm new to Central myself, but I took a look around, and I think that the Review functionality doesn't support this. I encourage you submit a feature request. Lots of us will want this, and I think our SMEs/reviewers will expect it.

Hello,
To add a comment in Central, you need to select a letter/word/phrase/paragraph, etc., and then click the sharpie icon (the third icon from the left).

I believe the question is about adding comments
outside of the actual content, which I agree I would expect too...
