Central says I don't have the Author role, but I do!

Hi all

I suspect this is a licensing issue, but I could be wrong.

I have a Flare project linked to Central, and when I try to push content to Central I get the message "You do not have the Author role required to push changes to this project on MadCap Central."

I've opened Central in a browser and logged in and I am most definitely there as an Author. I know my licence is up for renewal shortly though. Any suggestions?

Check to see if you are a member of the team with which the project is associated. This is just a guess...

Yes I am. I'm just going to raise a support ticket for it. I've checked and our licence doesn't expire until July so it's unlikely to be a licensing thing. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)

@ChoccieMuffin Could you share what the resolution was please? Am experiencing the same thing. Thanks.

Sorry, it was so long ago, and I haven't been working in Central as much as I would have liked, so I simply can't remember! I suggest you contact MadCap Tech Support and see what they say, as I think I got things fixed by talking to them. Good luck.
