I'm in a 30-day Flare trial as a potential converter from FrameMaker 7 to Flare. On my Flare and Capture installations I notice that a subset of the fonts used to create our FrameMaker PDF guides are unavailable in the Madcap drop-down lists--- though they are available in FrameMaker and some but not all other programs.
For example, these fonts are missing in Flare (all pfb & pfm files):
avenir
zapfdingbats
agaramond
Myriad Pro (OTF) works ok in Flare.
Am I out of luck? To use them in Flare, would I need to replace the missing fonts with equivalents in True Type or OTC or some other type? What are the recommended types of fonts for use in Flare?
