I use MasterPages for Word and generate PDFs along with Word output.
The gap between the header and the h1. heading is different in the output with no clear logical pattern.
An example Stylesheet with h1 and p. styles imported both for default and WordDocument mediums, a MasterPage and a PDF example output are attached. Check how the header/section heading gap in section 2 and 3 is larger than in other section.
WordDocument is the medium type, h1. and p. I suspect it is related to the MS Office 2013 update for prior to this the issue seems to have been non-existing.
EDIT: How can I UPLOAD FLARE-RELATED FILE TYPES AS TO HELP IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM???????

Re: Inconsistent margin/padding/gap between header/body in W
I think it might be something easier. You have two separate targets for your outputs, and I suspect you have a check box selected on one and not on the other.
Go to the Advanced tab on your target, and make sure the "Collapse top margin at top of page/column" check box is selected for both targets.
Reckon that'll solve the problem.

Pff, I am not THAT of a rookie. It is one target and the screenshots of the sections of THE SAME output. How can I combine different targets for one output?
