Hey everybody.
Using Analyzer V7, Flare V11. When I analyze my project, I get six database errors. All of them are related to variable sets. I'm getting the following errors.
Does anybody have any ideas what my next step is?
Database Errors
Re: Database Errors
This sounds to me like a problem in the SQLite databse that Analyzer builds. For some reason, the VariableType column is missing from the Variable table. Try deleting your Analyzer folder and re-analyzing the project.
Thanks,
Kristen

Re: Database Errors
Thanks for the advice.
That didn't solve it. I guess I need to open a case with Support.

Re: Database Errors
Sorry it didn't work. I don't use Analyzer too much, so I may be wrong about where they store that database. Not to ask the Flare equivalent to "have you tried restarting Windows?" but did you also delete other problematic, generated folders such as /Analyzer, /Output, /FileSync and /SourceControl?
Thanks,

I'd guess it's because you're using an older version of Analyzer.doc_guy wrote:Using Analyzer V7, Flare V11.
Analyzer v7 is for Flare v10, Analyzer v8 is for Flare v11.
Re: Database Errors
If MadCap has released Analyzer v8, why haven't I been notified of the upgrade? I have a Bronze plan for the complete MadPak.Dave Lee wrote:I'd guess it's because you're using an older version of Analyzer.doc_guy wrote:Using Analyzer V7, Flare V11.

You'd need to ask MadCap why they haven't contacted you!Dirk wrote:If MadCap has released Analyzer v8, why haven't I been notified of the upgrade? Note that when MadCap release a new version, they email the new licence keys to the purchaser of the software - they don't email the person who installs and registers the software. We've had this problem in our company, since the upgrade emails are sent to our purchasing dept, but they don't necessarily know who is using the software in our company.
