Pre tag paragraphs are messed up in Word outputs

Post by BrianBXYPRO »

I have another issue with Word outputs. :( I use the “pre” style for code outputs and when I create my Word outputs I get spaces added to the second and following lines. (No issues in all other outputs.) I have several issues with Word outputs in Flare 12 (none of which I had in Flare 11) but this is the most serious one because it often makes the code examples incorrect.

Here’s an example. First, here’s how it looks in Flare.

Here’s how it looks in HTML5.

Here’s how it looks in PDF:

And here’s how it looks in Word.

As you can see, it added spaces to the second and any following lines.

Any ideas of how to fix this? I’ve tried creating a div class but I have the same issue. Right now my solution is to fix it manually in the Word file. Unfortunately, this can be time consuming. The other solution is to use screenshots instead but I prefer using text because it’s easier to fix and update.

Thanks in advance,
Brian
