Hi all
We currently do all our source control in SVN, although not using Flare's integration. Our Developers are making noises about moving to GIT, but I seem to remember reading on here that GIT doesn't handle PNGs very well. Is this something I've just imagined?
Do any of you have words of advice to make this move that may be forced on us as painfree as possible?
Many thanks
Moving from SVN to GIT (outside of Flare) - any impacts?

Can you be more specific about the issues you've heard regarding PNG?
I've had no problems whatsoever with my many Flare projects' PNGs and Git. (FWIW, I use Flare's Git integration, but I wouldn't expect any issues either if I were using a third-party Git client.)

Re: Moving from SVN to GIT (outside of Flare) - any impacts?
As it turns out, it's a moot point because Dev have confirmed we can stay with SVN, which I'm very happy about.
@Nita, what I'd heard is that GIT doesn't deal very well with binary files so the GIT repository can get massive pretty quickly if you have lots of screenshots etc. But I could quite possibly have got the wrong end of the stick.
