Hi All - In my PDF output, I've set the AutoNumber value of Volume number to represent the version number of the manual. This works fine in all of the footers, but I'm trying to include it on the cover page as well, and for some reason it isn't working. Any thoughts on why this would be? I can't think of any reason it wouldn't. The cover page does use a different page layout than the rest of the manual, but I'm not sure if/how that would make a difference.
Thanks in advance,
Holly

Re: Variable Question
While volnum and manual version could be the same thing (e.g. you could think of the second version of the manual to be volume 2), in Flare, the volnum command is used for numbering different volumes (or parts) inside your manual.
You might be able to get this to work as it is if you set the volnum on the TOC entry for your cover topic also.
Alternatively, set up a dedicated variable for the manual version and use that in your footer instead. I think this is the easiest option.
